The morning after the Pizzas before…
The colours of the Bethnal Green Mission Church always attract the eye on the way to work if it's a sunny morning! They sell postcards of London too, it seems! Shot with the Zeiss 35mm f/2.8 FE, which is rapidly becoming my favourite lens on the A7r.
I had a market research session at the Tate on Friday and this was taken walking across the bridge. Cropped a bit from the original as I didn't have a long enough lens with me to isolate the building the way I wanted to (I was only carrying the 55/1.8 and 35/2.8).
Always fascinated by the shard at different times and in different light, it often seems most impressive in mist or rain. Here the red at the top shining into the rain shower give a little extra to the view.
