Phew, what a hectic and yet fun day on saturday. I was helping out on the stall of the Pier’s Trust’s acrhitects, De Rijke Marsh Morgan, taking photographs of assorted members of the public holding up sheets of paper which showed thier ideas for the future of Hastings pier. The consultation coinciededwith the National ‘Party on the Pier’ day (Hastings had to have a party on the prom thanks to the conition of it’s pier).
Thanks to all the hard work of the trust in promoting the event and some wonderful warm and sunny weather there were a vast number of people out and about. I reckon we made about 500 exposures, but I have yet to see the results as the dRMM architect took the card and whizzed offf to London. The good news is that they seem happy with the results, and will be incorporating them into a document they are producing this week.
